Ao Nang Village essentially refers to the area around the main road leading to Ao Nang Beach. It’s full of hotels and guesthouses, restaurants, bars and shops. It’s conveniently located, so it’s easy to get around, and it’s pretty close to Ao Nang Beach and boat piers.
Ao Nang Village is a great area for staying in a budget Ao Nang hotel, although it also has quite a few luxurious ones.
However, as this is the main Ao Nang road, it also means this area is very busy and loud, especially during the high season. Therefore, we recommend booking a hotel on the side roads rather than directly on the main road. That’s what we did, and we had a pleasant stay.
