During our eight months in Thailand, we spent over two months in North Thailand, and we loved it! From the must-visit Chiang Mai and its incredible temples and waterfalls to the mountains of Pai and Mae Hong Son, and the fascinating temples of Chiang Rai. It’s a lovely area!

Remember: Chiang Mai is the best place to base yourself when exploring North Thailand. That’s what we did, as well. There’s so much to do around!
