How to get to Mia Resort Nha Trang
It’s easy to reach Mia Resort Nha Trang as it’s just a 10-minute drive away from Nha Trang and about a 20-minutes drive away from Cam Ranh’s international airport. You can also reach Nha Trang by train.

The best check-in spot we’ve ever had
The reason why we wanted to experience Mia Nha Trang is primarily because of its unique location. And we got blown away by the view right away! The check-in/reception area at Mia Nha Trang is the most spectacular one we’ve seen so far. You have an unobstructed view of the sea right at check-in. There are small pools and a sitting area where you can relax, enjoy your welcome drink, and take in the scenery.
Photos can not do it justice. You have to go to see it.

Unique location of Mia Nha Trang
Mia Nha Trang has one of the most incredible locations of the Nha Trang and Cam Ranh area. It is unique because it’s situated in a private bay, with most of the resort on top of a cliff overlooking the bay.
Cliff Villa at Mia Resort Nha Trang
We stayed in a beautiful cliff villa set on a 35 meters high cliff, offering the best view of the East Sea. The villa is built from locally sourced raw materials such as stone, granite, and timber and is set in a lush green setting which we loved.
These villas have big glass sliding doors which you can completely open to enjoy the sunrise or a nice sunny day straight from the comfort of your bed.
Waking up with an unobstructed view of the sea
If there’s one thing they did right, it’s that you get plenty of sea views no matter where you are at the resort. Mia is definitely one of the stays that offered the best sunrise views so far. The views are mesmerizing, so we would highly recommend waking up early here to enjoy it either from the pool or straight from the bed.

Infinity pool
Every cliff villa has an infinity swimming pool close to the edge of the cliff. It’s not directly on the ridge, so don’t worry, you’re entirely safe. 😀 The pool part is probably the most photogenic part of the villa, and most photos you can see on Instagram are from there. But, of course, we had to snap a few too, as the view is just breathtaking.
Interior
The interior of the villa is pretty simple, but stylish. We prefer that. There was a big desk which was perfect for working. Usually, these desks in other villas have a lot of stuff on them, making it a bit messy, but in Mia, that wasn’t the case. Perfect!
Bathroom
The bathroom is spacious with a big bathtub inside and an outdoor shower in a little garden outside the closed bathroom.
Outside space
The inside of the villa is super cute. However, we enjoyed the outside area the most. Even though the yard looks small, they managed to fit in a lot there. There is a relaxing area outside with a big sofa, a little table, a hammock, and two sunbeds.
Eating vegetarian/vegan at Mia Resort Nha Trang
Before coming to Mia, we let them know of our vegetarian/vegan diet and were assured we wouldn’t be hungry. We can confirm that there was plenty of tasty vegetarian food for us.
A rich buffet breakfast
Mia Nha Trang offers a rich daily buffet breakfast with plenty of choices for everyone. In addition to regular breakfast foods, there were many natural juices, teas, cakes, and yogurt desserts. This is the first resort in Vietnam where we tried the buffet so far, as many had it closed due to the pandemic.
Stay protected on public WiFi
We’ve been using NordVPN for over 5 years now and can highly recommend the tool for protecting your privacy and freedom while browsing the internet.
It encrypts your connection and hides your data from potential hackers. Also, with a VPN, you can access blocked/restricted content like some Netflix movies or booking sites.

A la carte
Not only did the buffet breakfast already have some dishes we could have, but we could also order a la carte. And so we did. Almost every day, we ordered an English breakfast and a granola bowl. Both were so delicious and a great complement to the buffet in general.
In addition to that, we need to mention the beautiful location of Sandals restaurant where we had breakfast every day. It’s located down in the bay and overlooks the beach – perfect!
Lunch and dinner
Furthermore, the lunch and dinner options were also plentiful. They made us some wonderful dishes, and the portions were surprisingly big. Always a plus.
There was a minor hiccup during one dinner, where Matej ordered a pizza without cheese, just tomato sauce and veggies, but somehow ended up getting just a flatbread with no cheese, no sauce, and no veggies 😁. They resolved it ASAP and comped us the flatbread, so all was well. Another time Arijana got a Margherita pizza instead of a mushroom one, and she didn’t have to pay at all. There was a large teambuilding event there that evening, so it’s understandable.
That night we ate at the Mojito’s Lounge and Bar, which is a perfect spot for chilling. It’s located right next to the reception area with amazing views, even at night. We could see many fishing boats glowing in the dark.

Buggy rides through Mia Resort Nha Trang
You can walk the nice path through the resort or call a buggy to pick you up to go to the beach, restaurant, or back to your room. Keep in mind, that there is a small hill you have to walk up to come to the upper part of the resort. That is where the cliff-side villas are.
What to do at Mia Nha Trang
Kayaking and snorkeling at Mia Nha Trang’s reef
Some of the great activities (and our favorite ones) you can do at Mia Resort Nha Trang are kayaking and snorkeling. You can snorkel at their reef which is just 50m away from the second beach.
We had a fun guide who gave us some basic tips and taught us a bit more about this area and the animals we encountered. Unfortunately, it was quite hot that day, so we took a shorter route. We kayaked towards the second beach, where we did some snorkeling. Otherwise, you can choose some longer kayaking routes as well.
We also kayaked around to the entrance of a cave which is a nesting ground of the small Swiftlet birds, from which they gather bird’s nests. This is a delicacy in the Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine and culture for over 400 years and is also regarded as a kind of medicine. A kilogram of bird’s nests can cost up to $6000. That’s why you can see guards there 24/7, so nobody steals the nests. They supposedly belong to the government.
Enjoy the two beaches
There is not only one but two beaches available at Mia Nha Trang. The main one is right in front of the Sandals restaurant. One part of it is sandy, and the other is pure rocks. That part has lounges where you can sunbathe and even order drinks or food. You use flags to signal the staff when you need them.
Besides the main beach, another one is on the other part of the resort, below the residential villas. We didn’t visit that one, but it seemed quite nice from above.
Chill in the big infinity pool
If the beach isn’t your cup of tea, you can relax in the big infinity pool overlooking the beach. 😀
Xanh Spa
We had a 45 minutes body massage at Xanh Spa. Honestly, it was not the most pleasant massage for us. Maybe we should have taken a bit less intense one, so our experience would be better.
Same as the whole resort, Xanh Spa also offers a fantastic view right at check-in.
Play some sports
There’s a tennis and volleyball court at Mia, if you’re up for a more active vacation, and there are also complimentary yoga sessions every Sunday morning. However, kayaking and snorkeling were more than enough for us, so we skipped these.
Enjoy the privacy in your villa
We enjoyed this part the most. We took time for a nice bubbly bath and spent most of our time in the private pool enjoying the view.
What to do around Mia Resort Nha Trang
Even though we loved relaxing in Mia and didn’t feel the need to go anywhere, we suggest you take some time to enjoy Nha Trang City, which is just around the corner. Mia has some great tours that you can check out in their creative picture book in the room, but if you’re more for individual exploring, you can take a shuttle bus to the city and explore it yourself. Here are some of the top things you can do.
Po Nagar Cham Towers
There are many Cham Towers across Vietnam, so you have to visit at least some of them. Out of the original eight, there are now only four of them remaining in Nha Trang.
Long Son Pagoda
Long Son Pagoda is famous for two giant Buddha statues, the lying one and a big sitting one on top of a hill with a fantastic view of the city.
Ba Ho Waterfalls
Ba Ho Waterfalls are the most famous waterfalls in the Nha Trang area. They’re great for refreshing yourself on a hot day, and you can do some water activities there as well.
Thap Ba Hot Springs and Mud Baths
Another popular spot in Nha Trang are the Thap Ba Hot Springs where you can also enjoy a relaxing mud bath.
