Welcome Surprise
Radisson Blu Resort made sure that we feel at home right away, so they left a lovely welcome treat for us in the villa. Delicious chocolate cookies for Arijana, dried mango for Matej (and he swears it’s one of the best dried mangoes he ever tried), nuts, fruits, and a bottle of wine that we shared. We had a light dinner that night as we were full after that!
But that’s not all! We also got a welcome gift! Reusable water bottle (which we also think is for tea), reusable bag, and the most thoughtful welcome card ever! They found a selfie photo of us together on Matej’s inactive Instagram profile and put it in our welcome card, together with a beautiful personal note. We appreciate little things like this a lot, so this was a pleasant surprise that almost brought Arijana to tears.

Gorgeous modern architecture inspired by fishermen
We loved the design and architecture of Radisson Blu Cam Ranh, which is inspired by the Vietnamese fishing culture and traditions. You can see it across the whole resort: from the lobby to the restaurants, and even the spa looks like seashells! However, our personal favorite was the Sunrise restaurant, which wasn’t working while we were there (thanks, COVID). As you’ll see in the photos below, the restaurant is stunning!
Radisson Blu’s beachfront location, exceptional views, and dreamy swimming pools
Radisson Blu Cam Ranh is located on the Bai Dai beach, one of the most famous beaches in the area. Many people from Nha Trang come to the area just for the Bai Dai beach, so imagine waking up next to it every day. It’s a beautiful, long, sandy, and swimmable beach that also offers many sports activities such as surfing and kayaking. Facing east, it offers splendid views of the sea, especially before and just after sunrise. What’s even more impressive – every room and villa has an ocean view, so make sure to wake up for sunrise and enjoy the magic. 🙂
If the beach is not your piece of cake, there’s plenty of pools for you to enjoy. Even though we loved our private pool and spent the most time there, THE best view is from the infinity pool right in front of the main building. That’s also the most Instagrammable place of the whole resort, and we can see why. It’s also the biggest pool there, so you can definitely do some laps. There’s also one other, smaller pool, but we didn’t have enough time to check out that one.

Activities at Radisson Blu Cam Ranh
Like we already mentioned, Radisson Blu resort is a perfect place for an active holiday without even needing to leave the resort. Besides all the things discussed down, you can also train in their fitness center or join a yoga and tai chi class.
Running
When you think of resorts, you might not think of running. BUT, if you’re a runner and can’t let yourself skip a day, even while at the resort, then you are in LUCK! The immense size of the resort offers quite a long trail. It zigzags from the main building, by the spa, to each of the rows of villas, and around the Blu Lobster restaurant.
Tennis and badminton
Right at the entrance to the resort area, there’s a fully-equipped tennis and badminton court. We spent one afternoon going into the sunset time here and had so much fun. Although we’re not too experienced at tennis, we would like to make a hobby out of it where possible.
Kayaking and snorkeling
The resort offers free kayaks to all the guests, and we were really looking forward to it, but the weather wasn’t on our side (as usual). However, it’s something to enjoy while there for sure.
Beachfront villa
We stayed at a one-bedroom beachfront villa, and we LOVED it. The villa is enormous, and the beach is only 50m away. You just cross the nicely upkeeped grass, and you’re there. It has a beautiful bedroom with a comfy bed and big doors, which is fantastic when you want to enjoy the sunrise from your bed.
There’s also a big living room with a comfortable couch and a TV, plus a small kitchenette that we found perfect for working. Let’s not forget the stunning bathroom with a big white bathtub and even two showers!
TIP: Take a bath in the afternoon hours to enjoy the light play in the bathroom! Amazing! We accidentally discovered that, but unfortunately don’t have a photo of it, so you’ll have to see it for yourself.
We usually have problems with storage space, but Radisson Blu had plenty of closets and shelves, which we appreciated a lot! In fact, we got lost in all the space and sometimes had to search for stuff as we couldn’t remember where we left something. 😀
The villa has a lot of outside space for chilling, from sunbeds, a comfy couch in the shade, big chairs to enjoy your morning coffee, or a semi-open space between the rooms. It was so hard to choose where to spend our working breaks.
Now, the best part of the villa – private infinity pool. We loved spending time in the pool. The reason why we chose a beachfront villa is that big grass area in front of our pool, and, of course, the sounds of the ocean. The view was stunning, and it made our time in the pool ten times better.

Experiencing Radisson Blu Cam Ranh as a vegetarian or vegan
As vegetarians/vegans, we appreciated the effort made to accommodate our diets. The chef knew vegan food well and prepared some unique dishes. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are available in vegan versions, just let the resort know of your diet, and they will make sure to provide you with tasty food, no matter your diet preferences/restrictions.
Matej speaking: I know this might seem funny, but the dish I loved the most was the pumpkin soup done precisely as I like it. It’s one of my favorite foods in the whole world that I miss dearly.
Considering there was no buffet while we were there, we got a set menu with plenty of breakfast options. Even though Arijana really enjoyed her Muesli, one day she got a big pancake craving, so the chef made the pancakes specially for her. It’s important to mention that the portion was huge and so delicious! They’ll gladly do anything for you if they have all the ingredients at that moment, of course.
And, of course, make sure to try some of their desserts. I had coconut tart and white chocolate mousse mixed with berries. They’re yummy! Unfortunately, this is harder to get in a vegan version, but for everyone else, it’s a must!
As we already mentioned, the Sunrise restaurant was closed due to COVID, so we enjoyed all of our meals in Blu Lobster restaurant, which usually specializes in seafood. The restaurant has a nice view and is built in a traditional Vietnamese way. Plus, it looks stunning during the night!

Floating breakfast galore!
We’ve always dreamed of experiencing a floating breakfast, and Radisson Blu had the opportunity to make our dreams come true! We enjoyed a very rich (vegan!) floating breakfast our last morning there, in the pool, with a great view of the ocean – another highlight of our stay.
There was so much food that we barely ate everything! Make sure to put that on your list. You won’t regret it!
Relax at the seashells Spa
The spa at Radisson Blu Cam Ranh is one of the most beautiful spas we’ve seen so far! It’s gorgeous both inside and out! All the details and colors make it so unique. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy some lemongrass tea which you get as you come.
We enjoyed the Himalayan salt inhalation chamber, the aromatic floral steam room, and the ice grotto. We also got served some more tea and ginger while relaxing in the Himalayan salt inhalation chamber. Perfect experience!
Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to check out the huge jacuzzi just outside the spa and have a massage appointment, but it’s something we’d do the next time!
Cheers bar at Radisson Blu Cam Ranh
There’s also a chill bar with a pool table, darts, and all kinds of other games, plus comfy seating for enjoying the evenings. We only did a quick look as it’s currently closed due to COVID. However, it seems like such a fun place!
